Now that draft season is in the rearview mirror, the attention turns to undrafted free agents. As of now, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have agreed to terms with nine players that didn’t hear their name called during the draft.

The prospect of undrafted free agents certainly doesn’t move the needle nearly as much as draft picks do, and with good reason. They come in with little to no fanfare and don’t get nearly as much media coverage. Not much is expected of them from the general public, but everything is expected of them internally. The thing is though, every so often teams can find a diamond in the rough or two in the form of these undrafted free agents that can come in and contribute.

These are players that play with chips on their shoulders because they had to make their name in the NFL the hard way. Training camp and preseason aren’t just practices, they are life or death with each day, each practice, and each rep.

While the Buccaneers have somewhat of a “checkered” past when it comes to drafting (to put it lightly), they have had some success when it comes to undrafted free agents. Here are the top ten undrafted free agent signings in the history of the franchise.
