Games that won’t be easy for the Buccaneers

Falcons: Tampa ought to win this game. Julio or no Julio, the Bucs have the kind of roster that, if they play to their potential, a team as talented as the Falcons really won’t be able to keep up. Watch for explosive games from the entire wide receiver group.

Buffalo: It won’t be the heat and humidity bowl. Of all the games the Bucs play this season, the one against the Bills has the best chance of spoiling their chances to post an undefeated season. Really, the Bills are the real deal. But so is Tom Brady. And Brady has a pretty good record going up against the Bills.

Saints: The house will be rocking for this game. And, while the Saints are talented, they may be having quarterback issues by the time this game rolls around. By then, Winston will have left his mark on New Orleans for good or for bad. In truth, it would be nice to see him straighten out his QB performance issues, but the defensive front seven will be all over Jameis. Expect him to have a day very similar to the one Patrick Mahomes had in February.

Once the regular season is over, we will know who the Buccaneers will have to play to get back to SB LVI. Can they put together another run to the finish as they did last season? Smart money says no, but smart money tends to play favorites. The Buccaneers have the talent to do this thing. And, if you fall off the undefeated wagon, you always have a second chance to take home the Lombardi again.
