The new version of Tom Brady is fun. Despite the persona that he built during his time up North, the starting quarterback for the Buccaneers has a fun side.

Everyone knows Tom Brady as the athlete. We are witnessing perhaps one of the greatest football players of all time and one of the greatest athletes of all time as well, and Bucs fans are just the latest group to get a front-row seat to the GOAT show.

Brady is synonymous with winning. Of all the sports dynasties in history, Brady’s Patriots were one of the greatest. That team rarely lost, and its numerous trips to the Super Bowl ended in victory far more often than not.

The GOAT is aptly named, and he built his legacy on a ravenous hunger to win. This hunger has played a massive role in each decision of Brady’s career, but it also helped hide a lighter side that many of us didn’t know existed.

It’s easy for silly personalities to go under the radar in New England. Perhaps it’s the weather. More than likely, it’s head coach Bill Belichick, but regardless of what it was, Brady has lost the filter and become a hilarious face in the Tampa scene.

From avocado tequila to how he acts with his teammates, this version of Brady is by far the best, and he isn’t wasting any time with the subdued personality any longer.

In the lead-up to the highly-anticipated golf matchup between Brady and Phil Mickelson against Aaron Rodgers and Bryson DeChambeau, Brady is continuing to give his NFL counterpart a very hard time about the Packers’ decision-making during the NFC Championship game.

The fact that Brady was able to get his full jest out with a straight face shows just how aware he is of how true his statement hits home, and even Rodgers couldn’t help but crack a smile. The Bucs will always be grateful for the decision to kick the field goal in that crucial moment.

All of this was certainly done in fun, and it is simply another story in what will hopefully be a long and laugh-filled chapter for the Buccaneers with Tom Brady at the helm. And who knows, perhaps Brady will show that he can best Rodgers on the golf course as well. For Rodgers’ sake, though, he better hope that Brady doesn’t get too many chances to make jokes at his expense.
