If Tyler Johnson does weigh a little too much at Buccaneers training camp, there is no better teammate to have than Tom Brady.

It always happens to one guy. During the transition from college to the NFL, the biggest focus is on getting into the best shape of your life, but sometimes players slip up just a bit from year one to year two once they make it. Tyler Johnson is a little too heavy at training camp and caught the eye of Bruce Arians, according to Greg Auman on Twitter, but Tom Brady could come to the rescue.

Everyone wants to celebrate after winning the Super Bowl. There is no better time for a professional athlete to let loose and enjoy a victory than after winning the greatest honor in the sport, but it’s easy to get carried away in the fun.

Tom Brady may be ready to go and start practicing again the day after winning yet another ring, but we all need to understand that most of the Buccaneers are experiencing winning on this level for the first time in their lives. Sometimes, this means the party goes on a bit too long.

As the veteran on the team and the healthiest soon-to-be 44-year-old in NFL history, Brady needs to be the one to step in and help his teammates when they get too complacent on the field or off.

Fortunately for everyone, there is no one better to help Johnson than his captain and quarterback.

Tom Brady can easily save Tyler Johnson from himself

Brady attributes his health and success to his unique diet that has started to gain much more attention in recent years, and that could be the perfect way to not just get Johnson back into playing shape. In fact, Brady’s TB12 diet can get Johnson into the best shape of his career.

It may seem silly, but Brady approaching Johnson with the unique relationship shared by quarterbacks and receivers would probably come across much better than the coaching staff slamming Johnson, and who knows the product better than Brady?

It’s hard to argue with the results of TB12 when Tom Brady is playing so well at this stage of his career, and Johnson needs to do everything in his power to set himself apart in a wide receiver room that is growing more competitive by the day.

After a great rookie season, the last thing any of us want to see is Tyler Johnson losing out on reps due to something as easy to control as his weight.
