The Buccaneers will even have fun preseason football in 2021.
Preseason football is tough to watch at times. The Hall of Fame game the other night was a great way to welcome the season back, but large portions of those games, even for the Buccaneers in some years, are hard to sit through.
The depth players and the guys that are fighting for jobs on the team are some of the most exciting stories to follow, but it is hard to get too invested when the majority of the individuals that play in these games won’t even make the final roster.
The starters, who are the undeniable draw on this Buccaneers team, will probably play very little leading up to the final game. That last week is usually when the starters may play for a quarter or half on some teams, but with a 17-game season and the Bucs playing in the opener, fans shouldn’t hold their breath.
Fortunately, from an entertainment standpoint, Tampa does have several players on their roster that should get plenty of looks during the preseason.
The following players should play in every game if they can stay healthy, and they should make for some very exciting football to whet the appetite as the regular season draws near.
