Buccaneers football is back, and so too is fantasy football.

As the Tampa Bay Buccaneers prepare for the upcoming season, many NFL fans will be just as readily prepping themselves for the ultimate test for washed up athletes that always thought they could be a general manager; fantasy football.

Instead of watching ESPN finish it’s 285th consecutive mock draft so you feel confident about who you should be trying to pick before the rest of your league, this will be your guide to the top 3 Bucs with the largest fantasy upside this year over the rest of their positions.

1. The first Bucs position you need to pick is the Bucs defense. For the better part of last season, it was the defense that turned out the most consistent performances. Since the Bucs are bringing back the entire defense that completely stifled opponents on a weekly basis, it will be an excellent way to get the edge over other teams in your league, especially when most defenses lose their teams points most weeks.

2. The second player fans should draft is Antonio Brown. Last season, fans were only given a glimpse of what Brown and Brady were capable of. All reports and pre-season games point to that connection only getting better, so expect a monster year for Brown as Brady’s go-to receiver.

3. Lastly, when looking for that extra edge over opponents each week, Rob Gronkowski should be your pick. As the season continued last season, Gronkowski shook off the dust and got his legs underneath him. Towards the back half of the season and the playoffs, Gronkowski had a number of times that he reminded fans why he was considered the best tight-end in the league for the better part of his career. Fantasy fans should expect this trend to continue and see Gronkowski as a weekly threat to get you a touchdown or two considering his connection with Brady in the red zone.
