The Buccaneers have a legitimate chance to clinch the NFC South this Sunday against the Saints.

The Saints in the regular season are often not very fun for the Buccaneers to face, but this Sunday could flip the script. Tampa wasn’t able to snag a game against the Saints in the regular season last year and they also dropped an easy game against a depleted Saints roster in the regular season this year.

Regardless, the Bucs are still in contention for the top seed in the conference while the Saints aren’t, and Tampa can do plenty to help their chances of earning a first-round bye if they win this Sunday.

The Saints are never an easy game, even with their injuries, but the Bucs will still hopefully turn their foul regular season luck around with a win this week.

Buccaneers vs. Saints odds Week 15

The Buccaneers are currently 11.0-point favorites over the Saints with the over/under set at 46.5 according to WynnBET.

The Saints may be without some of their best playmakers, but making the Bucs such heavy favorites is surprising. Tampa hasn’t won by a margin such as this against the Saints in a while, and assuming that they will run away with a huge lead in a low-scoring game such as this is a lot to bank on.

Both teams have good defenses, but there is enough in this game to lean on that leads one to think it will still be hard to accurately predict. A low over/under with a heavy favorite tends to be an easy way for fans to see that bookmakers are largely undecided on the affair.

Buccaneers vs. Saints Week 15 preview

The Bucs come into this game as heavy favorites, but they can’t expect the Saints to hand them anything. This game will be extremely difficult from the opening whistle, regardless of who takes the field for the Saints, and the Bucs will still need to play one of their best games of the season to stay in a position to snag a bye.
