The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will play in the franchise’s first-ever Week 18 game as they host division rival Carolina Panthers.

The first-ever 17 regular-season game in Bucs’ history comes one week after another franchise first was achieved. Last week, the Bucs beat the Jets on the road for the first time in franchise history. Funny how that storyline has gotten lost in the media coverage. Did something happen in that game?

Unfortunately, yes. Antonio Brown walked off the field in the middle of the game after Coach BA told: AB “you’re done.” It’s unfortunate this happened. AB was a major contributor to last season’s Super Bowl run and victory.

Antonio Brown is a very talented NFL player. I’m thankful for his contributions to the Buc, and wish him success and happiness in his future. I will take a Super Bowl ring. Last week’s mid-game walk-off does not erase AB’s contributions to the Bucs.

Regardless, it’s next man up for Tampa Bay. Cyril Grayson had six catches for 81 yards and a game-winning touchdown during the Bucs’ comeback win against the Jets. Captain Brady threw for 405 yards to ten different receivers. Gronkowski had 116 yards on seven catches. AB accounted for three catches. Mike Evans caught four passes for 47 yards and a TD. Tyler Johnson had four catches for 50 yards. Tampa Bay still has plenty of weapons on offense and has the GOAT at quarterback.

Should the Bucs go for the win or rest their starters? Good question for the coaches in Tampa Bay.

It sounds to me like the starters will go Sunday against the Panthers. I think the starters should play. The roster has been devastated by injuries all season.

The Bucs have a winning formula that has won 12 games this season! Tampa Bay can clinch a franchise-first 13 win season with a victory against Carolina! Last chance for the team to execute plays, work together to win a game, before the playoffs begin. The home-field advantage Bucs fans have built this season will be needed. Carolina has a lot of players playing for future contracts and wants to show out against the defending Super Bowl champions.

The game can be seen on CBS at 4:25 PM EST. Enjoy the game and go Bucs!
