Super Bowl 56 is set. The Cincinnati Bengals will face the Los Angeles Rams. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers season ended on 1/23/22 against the LA Rams. Almost another come from behind victory by Tom Brady and the Bucs.

There are a lot of free agents that may leave the Bucs, coaches that may be getting a head coaching job with another team, and the team will look very different roster-wise next season. Tom Brady is the biggest departure by a mile.

Moving forward, there is a subject I want Bucs fans, and the organization, to consider. The uniforms. Tampa Bay has won both Super Bowl appearances with the 1997 championship, pewter power, bucs blood uniforms. In Super Bowl 37 the Bucs wore the home uniform with the red tops, pewter pants. Super Bowl 55 the Bucs wore the away uniform. Same pewter pants, white top. These uniforms look great and need to be the default uniform going into the future!

When the Bucs drafted Jameis Winston, the organization scraped these championship uniforms and unveiled a new look. The awful, modern, alarm clock numbers, with the pewter shoulders. Please, Bucs don’t do this going into the future. Keep the uniforms that the franchise has won Super Bowls with.

When Tom Brady signed with Tampa Bay in 2020, the Bucs brought back the championship uniforms and won the Super Bowl that season.

Please Bucs, keep these uniforms. I know some fans would prefer the “creamsicle” inaugural uniforms from the franchise’s creation. The 1976 creamsicle orange uniforms. Use them as an alternate once in a while. Maybe one home and one away game. I would use the creamsicle orange during a multiple games losing streak. Use the uniforms as incentives to earn back the bucs blood uniforms for winning, but that is just me. My opinion. Throw in the all grey, pewter once in a while, if the Bucs want.

“You look good, you feel good. Look good, play good. Play good, win good.” Keep the 97 re-design, pewter power, bucs blood uniforms going forward. The uniform history of the Bucs should be: 1976-1996 orange creamsicles, Bucanneer Bruce logo. 1997-2015 Bucs blood, pewter power. 2016-2019- The alarm clock uniforms. 2020-present Bucs blood, pewter power, championship uniforms.

That’s my two cents, can’t wait for the comments.
