Buccaneers leader reveals Bruce Arians was right on divisive topic

Antonio Brown dug his own grave with the Buccaneers. This should surprise no one.

Antonio Brown and the Bucs still being a story is almost hilarious at this point. The fact that anyone would believe that Antonio Brown was mistreated by the Buccaneers for a second is about as backwards as it comes, but Bucs fans are familiar with irrational support for players.

Brown has a heck of a following throughout the NFL. It’s easy to get tons of people to believe whatever you say when you are one of the best wide receivers in the history of the game, but the attacks against Bruce Arians were completely off-base.

Brown immediately tried to paint Arians as the bad guy during his debacle on the sideline in the Jets game, but every person with a hint of rational thought in their mind was able to decipher what really went down.

Bruce Arians is one of the best coaches in the NFL. There are few guys in the league that love and support their players as much as BA does, so Brown’s side of the story already didn’t make sense.

Now, Mike Evans has completely put the story to bed in an interview Tweeted out by Yahoo Sports.

Evans explained what we all knew already; Brown was not upset or being forced to play due to an injury, and his side of the story lost any remaining credibility (if it had any).

That angle seemed like it might work in the moment, but the fact that Brown and his legal team haven’t been able to put together any hard evidence on the topic in the past month and a half shows how baseless those allegations were.

To make matters worse for Brown, Mike Evans may be one of the most honest players in the game. If he thinks there was something going on with the injury, he would’ve been one of the first to stand up.

Evans was there and saw the whole thing. No one on the planet should trust Brown more than Evans or Arians, and this report only shows how true that should’ve been from the start.

This is just another reason for Bucs to sit around and be thankful that Mike Evans has been who he is for so long now.
