The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced the jersey numbers that three of their free agency signings will be wearing in 2022 and potentially beyond. We will now grade each choice for each of the new Buccaneers players.

Courtesy of the Bucs’ online roster on the official team website, eagle-eyed viewers were able to spot three of the team’s newest acquisitions: wide receiver Russell Gage and defensive backs Logan Ryan and Keanu Neal have the new kit numbers that they will wear whilst playing for the Buccaneers.

Greg Auman of The Athletic took to Twitter to announce to the masses that Gage will be wearing 17, Neal 22, and Ryan 26.

Jersey numbers of new players are always a talking point amongst fans, because after all, players may come and go, but what remains is that fans always root for the uniform. That being the case, it’s exciting to see what numbers each new player will wear for their beloved team. Of course, there’s also the chance fans end up using their hard-earned money to purchase said jerseys as well.

In that spirit, we are going to grade the choices of the three newest Bucs the best we can, since we have some time to kill before the NFL Draft. Let’s get to it.
