After a day of speculation, the meaning of Tom Brady’s cryptic tweet with Aaron Rodgers, Patrick Mahomes, and Josh Allen tagged has been revealed.
Tom Brady is the greatest of all time when it comes to football, and also when it comes to social media. Almost immediately after departing the New England Patriots, the GOAT hopped right onto the thing they call Twitter and immediately began taking over, for the fans of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and fans of humanity in general, to enjoy.
His most recent shenanigan occurred on Sunday when he tweeted out this gem:

Simple, yet effective.
Naturally, speculation was running rampant on just what the meaning of this tweet could possibly be. Could it be that he wanted the Buccaneers to pay up like the other quarterbacks tagged got their teams to do? Of course, this would further the “fraction” between Brady and the Bucs narrative, or could the tweet possibly be pertaining to his NFT projects?
As it turns out, it was about golf.
Brady will be teaming with Aaron Rodgers to take on Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen in this year’s edition of The Match, and of course, the most competitive human being on the planet, nay, Milky Way Galaxy and beyond has already started talking that flim-flam.
We tried to make this a tag team cage match but the lawyers said our contracts wouldn’t allow it…#CapitalOnesTheMatch is back, June 1st. Let’s kick their ass @AaronRodgers12 | @JoshAllenQB @PatrickMahomes pic.twitter.com/3ByQqBkIJR

Even if it is in golf, Brady is not going to sit by and let a competition involving the four best quarterbacks in football, (conveniently in an AFC vs. NFC matchup) be taken lightly. It’s what makes him truly the greatest.
So while the most realistic way for us to see who’s the best quarterback in the game would be if these four teams were to meet in their conference championship games in 2022, which is entirely plausible, for now, football fans will just have to wet the whistle as they settle in on the links.
One thing is for certain, we as a human race are lucky to have Tom Brady in our midst.
