There probably won’t be any moves before the draft, but these Buccaneers are very likely cuts this offseason.

There aren’t a lot of teams out there right now that are going to start cutting players with the 2022 NFL Draft so close. A team like the Buccaneers wants as many camp bodies as possible to give the team the best shot at another Super Bowl run, but there are still a few names that could be off the team in the next few weeks.

Whether the Bucs want to give well-liked players the time to find a new home or want to clear roster space to bring in some new names, cuts are coming.

Here are the three most likely guys to be off the team:

Player #1

Bradley Pinion, Punter

Pinion was one of the worst players on the Bucs last season. The punting yards suffered, kickoffs went to the wrong places, and everyone seemingly realized that a change was needed at the end of the season.

There are plenty of better free agents out there that would be cheaper than Pinion, and the odds are high that almost any other name would perform at a higher level than what the Bucs have right now.

On a slightly different note, the Bucs absolutely don’t need to spend a draft pick on this position. While Pinion was terrible, he never directly influenced games.
