The second day of the 2022 NFL Draft was the first day the Tampa Bay Buccaneers made any picks. Naturally, the initial reflex is to put grades on these picks and either deem them as booms or busts before they even lace up their cleats or touch the field. Is it premature, unnecessary, and perhaps even a little unfair? Sure. It’s also fun. Why? We love football and have months to go so what else are we going to do?

Grading the picks the Buccaneers made on day two that’s exactly what we’re going to do.

The Bucs clearly went in with a plan, and it was to attempt to plug in the gaping holes of the starting lineup they have in the trenches. At the end of the day, games are won and lost in the trenches, so this approach should be commended.

It’s true we won’t know a darn thing until these players actually put on the pads and play, but waiting without speculating is no fun.

With all of that being said, here are our way-too-early grades for the Buccaneers’ draft picks in the 2022 draft so far, based on the limited information we know at this point of course.
