In what is a somewhat strange turn of events, Tom Brady has already accepted his next job after quarterbacking the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Not that it should really surprise anyone, but Tom Brady has a bright NFL future that goes beyond playing on the field.

Players and coaches that have transcendent minds for the game and are able to perform at such a high level usually have a market in broadcasting, something that we have recently seen with Pat McAfee and Tony Romo.

Romo and McAfee are arguably better in this stage of their careers than they were as players, and while it is hard to imagine the same thing happening with Brady, he is going to be an excellent analysts for Fox Sports, as announced by their Twitter account today.

It seems like everyone knew this was going to come at some point. The only real surprise here is that the announcement came before Brady was officially retired from the game.

While it seems like the GOAT may only have one more season left in him, there is still a chance that his career goes beyond 2022, although that isn’t likely.

From the Fox Sports standpoint, this is as good of an acquisition as it was for the Buccaneers two years ago. Brady is charismatic, well-versed in the sport, and one of the largest athletes in the world.

People will tune in for Brady and his takes just as often as they turned on their televisions to watch him play.

This news also does well to silence any ridiculous rumors about Brady moving into an ownership role for any other teams in Florida in the near future, but most of us already knew that as a fact long before this.

The good news is that Brady is still focused on winning, and that is exactly what can happen with the Bucs in 2022.
