It might seem like Tom Brady has nothing else to accomplish from a legacy standpoint, but how could his newest challenge improve his image further?
Is there truly anything else for Tom Brady to accomplish? After winning a Super Bowl with the Buccaneers in his first year in the NFC, it truly seems like there is little more for the GOAT to do or prove.
Winning MVP last season and ending that drought for the Bucs would’ve been another great step, but it isn’t a need.
Still, Brady does have a shot of winning that award this season if the league stops voting for guys that actually detract in value, so the Bucs can hold onto hope.
For Brady, most other legacy gains will come off the field. Perhaps they will come on the ice?
As the Tampa Brady persona continues to be one of the most fun players in professional sports, the star quarterback for the Buccaneers just issues an interesting challenge to another well-renowned athlete.
In what seems like a clear joke but we definitely could actually see happening, Tom Brady has challenged LeBron James to a hockey shootout.
Oh, the weird things you write when you talk about Brady for long enough.
Despite how ludicrous this might seem, Brady and James have the personas to actually make this happen. Both have massive followings, are well-liked by the media and their fanbases, and they have the means to make this happen.
The biggest question now is not whether or not this happens, but who would actually win?
For our money, we are going to take the kid from Ohio rather than the one from California. Plus, James has more size and the athleticism to get a bit more power behind his shot if they can find a stick long enough to fit James’ frame.
This is going to be an interesting development to follow as it seems like it might not be as outlandish as it looks and sounds.
