After seeing how the draft and the early parts of free agency shaped out, the Buccaneers still have a few moves to make before training camp begins.
If the Buccaneers really want to make the most of Tom Brady’s final season and put Todd Bowles in the best position to win in year one, they will likely want to build on their decent draft class with a few more free agent signings.
There is still a bit of space in the cap for the Bucs to presumably bring back Rob Gronkowski, but why sit around and wait?
The team is clearly doing everything in its power to make sure it can compete with or without their Hall of Fame tight end in 2022, so why not focus on bringing in other guys, regardless of Gronk’s future.
With that being said, the Bucs will also probably want to hold onto a bit of space to make any signings during the season in the event of an injury, but that shouldn’t keep the franchise from eyeing any vets.
While there aren’t many wild needs for the team at this point, a bit of help at wide receiver, defensive line, and edge could go a long way. Here are some guys that are available:
