The Buccaneers could bring in an old rival

Julio Jones

We’re going to keep banging on the table for this one until someone can prove us wrong. Jones is the best wide receiver free agent on the market and we aren’t going to pretend that the wide receiver room is perfect for the Buccaneers.

It would be nice to think that the depth can hold its own and step up when called upon to do so, but they had that chance and squandered it.

Why waste Tom Brady’s last season?

Jones wouldn’t be the cheapest guy on the list, but let’s also not pretend that his price tag would be as high as it once was. The Bucs could get the best third or fourth receiver in the NFL for relatively cheap, and who doesn’t want to see more targets for Tom Brady?

If Brady really does want this move to happen, there is no reason to assume the Bucs wouldn’t at least make an offer. While we think that it makes sense for him to still go back to the Titans for another shot with A.J. Brown on a new team, we would be more than happy to take the best wide receiver of the 2010s on this Super Bowl contender.

And, who doesn’t like the added benefit of taking another Falcons receiver to beat Atlanta? Make it happen.

Tom Brady media take that every Buccaneers fan can relate to. light. Trending
