Contract #3 for the Buccaneers

Jake Camarda, has not agreed to terms yet

No contract officially yet for the third-best contract on the Bucs right now. That doesn’t change the fact that this is about to become one of the better contracts on the team.

For all of the terrible that is spending a draft pick on a punter in the damn fourth round of the draft, the good news is that you at least don’t have to pay an increasingly-unimportant position.

That’s right, we’re looking at Bradley Pinion and his nearly $3 million that he is due to receive in 2022.

Drafting punters is bad. Paying them is worse. At least the Bucs physically can’t pay Camarda all that much, and that is going to make his contract infinitely better than what the Bucs are currently dealing with in Pinion.

It will be interesting to see where this number will fall when everyone officially agrees to terms, but we can assure you that it will be low enough to potentially make the fourth round pick seem worth it in the terms of money considerations.

Trending. Buccaneers with the best chance of breaking out in 2022. light
