Breakout player #1 for the Buccaneers in 2022

Cyril Grayson

Grayson was one of the most fun Bucs players to watch last season. While his time on the field was limited, Grayson has a huge play in almost every game he made it on the field.

Despite all of the issues the team faced in 2022, Grayson was one of the few bright spots in the wide receiver room after Antonio Brown left the team.

While the Bucs did go out and get Russell Gage in free agency to presumably play the third role this upcoming year, no one should count Grayson out yet.

The speedster and home-run hitter from last season did make a compelling case to be the WR3 in Tampa during the playoffs, and an injury was all that kept us from seeing him in action in that role.

There is still a lot of work that needs to go into winning the job before anyone would consider him a breakout star for such a talented team, but this guy has shown a lot to excite anyone about his potential over a full season if he is able to stay healthy.

A quarterback like Tom Brady always needs a great deep threat that can keep the defense honest. Cyril Grayson brings that to the table and has done everything right to earn a genuine spot on this team.
