Buccaneers opponents part four
San Francisco 49ers, Away- Win, 31-21
The 49ers ranked 15th in the NFL last season in % of passing plays ending in sacks, and their offensive line struggles outside of one great talent. Our pass rush should FEAST.
Cincinnati Bengals, Home- Win, 38-28
The Bengals have an explosive offense but struggle mightily along the offensive line. Even after adding Alex Cappa from Tampa, they still have a line full of holes, and their defense is not an elite unit. Solid win against the AFC champs.
Arizona Cardinals, Away- Win 28-17
The Cardinals will have Deandre Hopkins back from suspension at this point, and the addition of Hollywood Brown makes this team explosive, but I just don’t see them gaining much traction in the run game, which allows our defense to sit back in coverage and cause fits for Kyler Murray.
Carolina Panthers, Home- Win 31-28
By this point, the Panthers may very well be starting rookie QB Matt Corral over Sam Darnold, and that will likely make this game closer, but the end result will still be the same. Corral is a tough kid with a lot of moxie, but toughness gets put to the test when Shaq Barrett is coming for you.
Atlanta Falcons, Away- Win, 49-21
The Falcons could have also turned to their rookie signal caller, Desmond Ridder, by this point of Mariota underperforms. I don’t think it matters. Leonard Fournette will likely gash their defense, and Tom Brady will utilize play action to take shots down the field without solid safeties backing up the falcons corners.
I predict an overall record of 11-6! Tell me what predictions you agree and disagree with below in the comments!
