The NFL’s merchandise king and GOAT of GOATs Tom Brady can now officially add international man of mystery (baby) to his list of accomplishments.
Tom Brady’s accomplishments on various NFL fields need no introduction, or really any rundown at all. He’s become an American icon, and it’s no shock that he is once again the top dog when it comes to NFL merchandise sales.
According to the NFL’s official UK Twitter account, Brady is also the monarch of merchandise across the pond as well, not just in the states.
Of course. Why would anyone expect anything different? Truth be told, none of that list should be all that surprising, considering the top features all of the brightest stars at the quarterback position, both young and old.
As far as non-quarterbacks go, Cooper Kupp and Davante Adams make sense, considering the season Kupp just had, and the fact that Adams is a star in his own right, now on a different team. Besides, no matter the city, the (now) Las Vegas Raiders’ kits will always be amazing.
The only defender on the list being New York Giants’ rookie pass-rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux of all people is probably the thing that will jump out to everyone. As far as we’re concerned though, the thing that will jump out most to us though, is that our neighbors over the water are buying Tampa Bay Buccaneers kits at a nice clip, thanks to Brady, the international man of mystery.
What also helps with this title, is that when the Buccaneers take the field against the Seattle Seahawks in Munich, Germany this season, Brady can become the first and only player in NFL history to win a regular season NFL game in four different countries.
We won’t get ahead of ourselves with that though. For now, let’s just marvel at yet another notch in the ol’ belt of Tom Brady. Cheerio.
