Can the Buccaneers finally stop at receiver?
Will Fuller
Yep, this one seems silly. This might seem hard to understand until we look at it in the same light as Julio Jones.
Does this signing make the Buccaneers better or worse? Like Jones, the answer is obvious.
Making the greatest wide receiver room in NFL history sure seems like an easy way to continue tipping the scales in Tampa’s favor.
Fuller is a starter on almost any team in the NFL if it wasn’t for injuries. The constant time missed has made it hard for the speedster to find a home and make a name for himself, and it looks like a change of scenery could be on the horizon for Fuller again.
Switching out a guy like Scotty Miller or Tyler Johnson for Fuller is hilariously easy to stomach. Fuller could play any role that the Buccaneers need well and would do it better than Miller or Johnson.
This deal would give Fuller a real shot at a ring and the ability to reform his image as an injury risk ahead of another free agency market, the Bucs give Tom Brady more weapons than any quarterback ever, and the Bucs continue looking towards the Super Bowl.
Definitely not a move the Bucs would make, but the Madden simulation worked pretty well for the Rams last year. Why not try it in Tampa?
