The Buccaneers and the Saints are going to face off today to see who will take full control of the top spot in the NFC South.
Greetings, Bucs Nation! The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are on the road this week to face division “rival “the New Orleans Saints. Short, sweet, to the point, and brutally honest. The Saints have won the regular season matchups for the past two seasons. I’m hoping the players, and coaches take that message as motivation and use it to earn a win. If the Bucs play like last week, I’m optimistic.
That was a dominant performance against the Dallas Cowboys. Huge shout-out to the defense, holding Dallas to three points! The Cowboys had a dual-threat running attack that was neutralized by the Buc’s defense as they held the Cowboys to under a hundred yards rushing. 71 total rushing yards for Dallas.
I liked the Bucs’ offensive game plan and I hope it continues throughout the season! Loved the balance and how many rushing attempts our offense made. 33 rushes for 152 yards with “Playoff Lenny” carrying the load. 21 carries for 127 yards. The long passes downfield were nice.
Welcome to the Bucs Julio Jones, and great catch! Tom Brady looked great throwing the ball. Going for 18/27 for 212 yards, one touchdown and one interception. The offensive line performed very well, opening lanes for the rushing attack and giving Brady time to find the receivers downfield. The offensive attack was 33 rushes and 27 passes. I think it’s a winning formula.
The Buc’s will need that physical brand of football to get a win at New Orleans Sunday. A win means the Bucs lead the NFC South division and the rivalry is back on! The game is at 1 PM EST and is scheduled to be broadcast on FOX. Have a great weekend and go Bucs!
