The Buccaneers need to use their whole running back room

Rachaad White

After the preseason that we all saw from Rachaad White, it is a little surprising that he can barely get on the field for the Bucs when the rubber met the road.

Leonard Fournette has looked decent, but the run game isn’t the most effective way for this offense to run, especially not in a one-man room.

If the Buccaneers really do want to run as much as they have, a committee approach with Fournette and White in a lightning-thunder dynamic is going to reduce injuries and add a different layer to the offensive plan.

If the Bucs want to start leaning on the pass a bit more and establish more of a quick passing game, White gives that opportunity while still spelling Fournette.

One way or another, White is too good and athletic to spend the majority of these games on the bench as he has. He brings too much in his game with his skill set to not make it on the field when the offense is struggling.

We aren’t calling for a crazy change, but more Rachaad White has to help the slower offense.
