Former Buccaneers leader speaks out on bad blood with Tom Brady
By Rob Leeds
Tom Brady is one of the most well-known players in the NFL, but that doesn’t mean he is one of the most well-liked. A Buccaneers legend gave his perspective on the GOAT.
If Tom Brady is the most beloved quarterback in this history of the Buccaneers, there is a chance that Ryan Fitzpatrick makes an argument to make it into the top five if he sneaks his way into the list.
The Bucs haven’t exactly been that great at the position since the creation of the team.
Regardless, while Bucs fans should love Brady and Fitzpatrick, there appears to not be any lost love between the two.
According to Fitzpatrick, this dislike runs rather deep from his end, and he goes into detail on this topic in the below video:
You can tell here that Fitzpatrick is not a big fan of Tom Brady. It also partially seems like the first Buccaneer quarterback of the pair is somewhat justified in his way of viewing Brady.
The GOAT does have a bit of a history after losses. Yes, it is an emotional time for the players and no one likes to lose, but this is turning into a bad habit.
We saw something similar with Nick Foles after the Bears defeated the Buccaneers in Brady’s first season in Tampa. That night was another one to forget, and it is clear that moments like that impact the opponent as well.
It might be silly, but it will be interesting to see how Brady handles this going forward with so many eyes on his attitude when he is frustrated. It is more than fair to say that Tampa’s current quarterback can be much better in that regard.
