It is almost crazy that some are worried about it, but Tom Brady has clarified his future with the Buccaneers after some uncertainty.
It is almost crazy that we have arrived at this point with Tom Brady and the Buccaneers.
This season has been way more hard than easy, but it is still ludicrous to believe that Brady would ever consider retiring in the middle of the season after everything we’ve seen.
Brady came back from his retirement for a reason. We may not know what that reason is, but all of his actions point to an obvious desire to stay on the Buccaneers.
Guys that want to quit early don’t yell at their teammates to hype them up. Guys that want to retire early don’t go out and recruit for the team they are going to leave. It is tough, but this hasn’t been the first tough stretch for Tom Brady or the Buccaneers.
Still, the GOAT addressed this point in an interview, but it did make this entire process seem all the more silly.
Yeah, does this really need to be said?
Anyone who was actually worried about this was paying far too much attention to the wrong places. Sure, Brady is obviously not himself right now, but thinking that he would quit is a bit of bridge too far for a guy that is so dedicated to the game.
The best thing to come out of this is at least that the narrative is going to finally die. Some worry is warranted, but to this level it is not.
The GOAT isn’t going anywhere, at least not until the end of the season when his contract is up. This writer wouldn’t read into the statement any further than that.
