Football might be the most popular sport in the U.S., but the Buccaneers are gearing up to play a game in a place where “football is king” means something different.

The task of saving the season has become a bit more difficult for the Buccaneers with the emergence of Geno Smith and this Seahawks team.

Smith has played like one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL through the first half of the season, and trying to beat this team on the road in Germany is going to be a great way of seeing what this team is capable of against a better opponent.

Many people have been talking about this game due to the fact that it is unique for being played in Munich, and that has brought the attention of Ring of Honor member and future Hall of Famer Ronde Barber.

(Seriously, this has to be the year that he makes it into the Hall of Fame, right?)

In the course of discussing the game, Barber made a statement that would like surprise some American football fans.

American Football legend Ronde Barber might watch the other football more than the sport where he made a name for himself.

Some fans may find this hard to believe, but soccer is the king of sports internationally. The viewership of Premier League games, the Champions League, and the World Cup draw ravenous fans from around the globe, and Ronde Barber is merely one of millions.

This was a cool way for the Buccaneers legend to pull the curtain back a little bit into his personal preferences. It seems like some retired players only pour themselves into their own sport, but it is cool to see a guy enjoying something different during his retirement.

Brace for all of the soccer takes tomorrow; they’re coming.
