Tom Brady has right idea about future after Buccaneers run
By Rob Leeds
‘What’s next for the GOAT?’ remains one of the bigger questions for the Buccaneers and Tom Brady. Maybe there is another stop coming up before the booth.
The Tom Brady watch has been going on since before he initially announced his retirement with the Buccaneers. Is the GOAT going to stay in Tampa? When will he finally step into the booth? Could he go to Miami to play with the Dolphins? (seems less likely now).
What is there is another option?
What if, instead of going into broadcasting or staying in the NFL, Tom Brady decides to go to a new league?
Brady has dominated the NFL for over twenty years. What if his next step is to dominate the Canadian Football League?
What a way to continue adding to a legacy.
Brady is still one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, so it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to downgrade the quality of his league for now, but if he really does love the sport and wants to keep playing, the CFL might be the perfect place for Tom Brady to play into his 50s.
This is obviously all in jest, but Brady is the type of guy that would do something like this, if anyone would.
A move like this would also help the GOAT in American Football match one of the only other accomplishments in the sport that he hasn’t met; winning a Grey Cup-an accomplishment that Hall of Famer Warren Moon has already done five times.
If Brady really is all about the competition, perhaps the CFL should be on his radar based on how good he has played internationally. However, our money would still be on him heading into broadcasting at the end of this season.
