Injuries are still working against the Buccaneers

This is a boring answer, but boring doesn’t make this any less true.

The Buccaneers are struggling due to rampant injuries on both sides of the ball. This is a bit too simple and straightforward to be the main issue, especially when teams across the league deal with similar issues on a yearly basis, but it is true.

Losing Ryan Jensen did set the offensive line back at first, although, Robert Hainsey did step up to the plate well.

Tampa has also been without key wide receivers, corners, and their starting pass rusher for long chunks of the season as well.

Injury luck has been working against the Buccaneers, but this will always be a problem that good coaching could overcome. Unfortunately, this mixed with the Bucs having poor coaching has made it an even larger issue.

Hopefully the Bucs can have some good luck in this area for the rest of the season and keep the remainder of their best players healthy while also getting some of the injured ones back.
