A lot has gone wrong for the Buccaneers this season. Injuries have been a huge issue, but they are also an issue for their opponents.

The Buccaneers are in a tough spot with three games to go. There is a lot of momentum working against Tom Brady and company during one of the most important parts of the season, but that doesn’t mean everything is going against the team in pewter and red as they look to keep their playoff hopes alive.

With so few games left and a tight race in the NFC South, every game is a must-win for the Bucs. The good news for Tampa is that their upcoming match against the Arizona Cardinals should be easier while facing a third-string quarterback.

Rather than facing Kyler Murray or Colt McCoy, the Bucs will have to beat Trace McSorley to keep their playoff chances alive.

This comes as a bit of good news for a Buccaneer team that really hasn’t caught that many breaks.

Sure, the Bucs haven’t done all that well against backup quarterbacks in the past, but it’s not like they’ve been doing that well against starters this season either.

McSorley has limited NFL experience and should face a very long road as he tries to find the end zone against this Buccaneer defense. Is it a sure thing? No, but this news paired with the dumpster fire that has been the rest of the season for the Cardinals should make this game look a bit better for the Buccaneer outlook.

The Buccaneers should take every break they can get. It may not be as great as beating all of the best teams at full strength, but wins are all that matter right now. This one should end as a win based on this news.
