Linebacker: Derrick Brooks (1995 – 2008)

Another player who can lay claim as the greatest Bucs player of all-time, Derrick Brooks, the 2002 Defensive player of the Year is deserving of his spot in the Hall of Fame, and his spot on this team. His five All-Pro and 11 Pro Bowl selections are the most in the history of the franchise, so it’s easy to see why he is held in such high esteem.

Linebacker: Hardy Nickerson (1993 – 1999)

The heart and soul of the Bucs renaissance in the 1990s, Hardy Nickerson was the leader and mentor that molded the legendary defense that would win Super Bowl XXXVII, even if he wasn’t around to win it himself. With the Bucs, Nickerson was an All-Pro in 1993 and 1997m and a five-time Pro Bowl selection. Oh, and a member of the NFL’s Team of the 1990s. Not too shabby.

Linebacker: Lavonte David (2012 – ?)

From the heart and soul of the 1990s to the heart and soul of the last decade of Bucs football. If we’ve seen the last of Lavonte David in a Bucs uniform, it will certainly be the end of an era. The fact that he was teammates of both Ronde Barber and Tom Brady speaks to the longevity of David. The leader of the teams he played on, and one of the leaders of this all-time team.
