Potential Trade Package: No. 30 pick

Philadelphia is in a position to truly be the rich getting richer, even while trading a first-round pick.

The Eagles could trade pick No. 30 to the Bucs straight up and land White. It’s a win-win, as Tampa Bay would get a first-round pick for White and the Eagles could acquire a Pro Bowl linebacker still on a cheap deal for 2023 for what amounts to a second-round pick.

However, the Eagles own the No. 10 overall pick thanks to some dumb front office negotiating by the New Orleans Saints. That means the Eagles could trade a first-rounder for White and still land a Top 10 pick, or trade back and recoup some capital.

If the Eagles want White, they probably have the best offer to give the Bucs while still somehow coming out even better than they were before.

As for Tampa Bay, the 30th pick could be packaged in a trade back that adds to its war chest or the pick could be used on Hendon Hooker. There are already rumors that the Bucs are eying Hooker, and the team could land him on a five-year rookie deal by taking him 30th overall while still using the No. 19 pick on an offensive lineman to protect him.

Imagine a scenario where the Bucs essentially flip White for Darnell White (at Pick No. 19) and Hendon Hooker (Pick No. 30). Not a bad haul.
