The NFL Draft has finally arrived, and here’s all of the information you need to know in order to catch all of the first round action.

After months of speculation and throwing things against the wall, the NFL Draft is finally here. Everything we’ve been musing about since the end of the season will either be proven true or completely blown up — probably somewhere in the middle.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers own the No. 19 pick in the first round, in addition to a handful of other selections throughout the weekend. It’s all about that top pick, though, as the Bucs are in a weird spot where they can go a number of different directions with who they decide to add once they go on the clock.

There’s also no guarantee the Bucs will go on the clock at No. 19, as there are rampant rumors of a trade happening one way or the other. Earlier in the offseason there was speculation that the Bucs could trade up to draft one of the top quarterbacks in this year’s class, but that seems rather illogical.

It would cost too much to move up to grab a guy that might not be better than what the team could wait to draft next year.

A trade down makes sense if there aren’t any slam dunk prospects available when the Bucs go on the clock, but all eyes appear to be on what happens with the top tackles in the draft. If the Bucs want someone like Darnell Wright or Paris Johnson Jr., they’ll likely have to move up in the draft to get him.

Jason Licht has traded up just once since taking over as GM of the Buccaneers, and that was back in 2020 to draft Tristan Wirfs. It could be that fans are in for another tackle trade tonight.
