In the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' loss to the Falcons, Baker Mayfield carved out a piece of the history books for himself with his touchdown pass to Devin Culp.

According to CBS researcher Doug Clawson, Mayfield made history as Devin Culp became the 48th player to catch a touchdown from Mayfield. It's the most of any quarterback 30-or-younger, a cool feat for Mayfield.

It makes sense when you consider Mayfield has started games for four teams in the NFL, giving him the opportunity to meet and work with plenty of receivers.

In Mayfield's four years with Cleveland, he threw touchdowns to 21 different players. That included big names like Odell Beckham Jr. (who he connected with 6 times), Jarvis Landry (13), and David Njoku (11). It also included guys like Demetric Felton (1), Anthony Schwartz (1), and Stephen Carlson (1).

In 2022 with Carolina, Mayfield only threw six touchdowns, but he threw them to six different players. That's how Robbie Chosen, Christian McCaffrey, Laviska Shenault, DJ Moore, Tommy Tremble, and Terrace Marshall each caught one TD pass from Mayfield.

Later in 2022 with the Rams, he added touchdown passes to Van Jefferson and Tyler Higbee. By the time he arrived in Tampa Bay, he had already thrown a TD pass to 29 individual players.

In Tampa Bay, he's now thrown a touchdown to 19 players over the course of three seasons with the Bucs.

That includes Mike Evans, who has caught the most touchdown passes from Mayfield (25!), Chris Godwin (8), Cade Otton (8), and Rachaad White (9). It also includes guys like Tristan Wirfs (1), Deven Thompkins (1), Ko Kieft (1), and David Moore (1).

Baker has made a name for himself as a guy who does whatever it takes, and that shows here. He does not play favorites with any single receiver. Instead, he leads his offense and takes advantage of whoever he has available, even if it's not a superstar pass catcher.

Mayfield makes the most of his team better than nearly any other quarterback, and it shows.
