As Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers prepared to take the field against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, one Seahawks fan took the phrase "F*** around, find out" to new heights. That fan decided it'd be a good idea to heckle Mayfield before the game and the clip of Mayfield clapping back at the fan went viral.
Well, after Mayfield and the Bucs walked out of Lumen Field as 38-35 winners of the offensive shootout, Mayfield wasn't done putting the Seahawks fan on blast. First, as he was running back through the tunnel on his way to the locker room, Mayfield made sure that Seahawks fan heard all about who won the game and who lost it.
The Bucs franchise quarterback wasn't done there though. He posted images from the game on his Instagram on Tuesday and made sure to center his post around that fan. Not only did Mayfield have a photo of the Bucs in the tunnel with a shot of the fan yelling at him in the upper left frame but he paired that with the caption "Name the time and place." Cold as ice, Baker is.

Hey, as I said above, this Seahawks fan truly flirted with the whole "F*** around, find out" saying. He decided to heckle Mayfield (and filmed it, no less) and guess what? After his team lost, it was time to suffer the consequences of those actions.
Some might say that athletes should just drown out the noise and ignore these fans but hey, if the fans want to put themselves out there, why shouldn't the athletes clap back? It's not like Mayfield is someone known to shy away from this stuff either.
Perhaps if that fan tried this crap with Patrick Mahomes or Josh Allen (no shade to those guys but they're not going to be as fired up at a fan as Mayfield is) things would be different but Mayfield is not going to just let someone talk smack at him and not say anything back. Plus, he didn't get physical with the fan. He yelled back at the fan, then beat that fan's team on the field, and continued to let that heckler hear it after the fact.
