An already difficult job for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had gotten even harder thanks to a laundry list of injuries impacting the team. Just about every star player has ended up on the injury report at various points this season, and the Bucs' Week 5 game in Seattle is perhaps the worst it's ever been.
Tampa Bay will take on the Seahawks without Mike Evans, Jamel Dean, Benjamin Morrison, Luke Goedeke, or Bucky Irving. That's to say nothing of the season-ending loss of Calijah Kancey and Cody Mauch, as well as guys like Emeka Egbuka and Baker Mayfield having popped up on the injury report recently.
It's a tough scene, but the Bucs have proven to be resilient in the past and will need to lean on that yet again this season.

Here's everyone who won't be suiting up for the Bucs in today's game against the Seahawks:
Player | Position | Injury |
---|---|---|
Mike Evans | WR | Hamstring |
Bucky Irving | RB | Foot/Shoulder |
Benjamin Morrison | CB | Hamstring |
Jamel Dean | CB | Hip |
Christian Izien | S |
We knew that guys like Evans and Goedeke would be out, but the biggest loss this week is running back Bucky Irving. He popped up on the injury report with a foot injury and is also reportedly dealing with a shoulder injury that is causing even more concern.
Not having Bucky means that Tampa Bay will be leaning on Rachaad White to take over as RB1 with Sean Tucker stepping up into the backup role. Joshua Williams is expected to see action as well, but the Bucs can at least head into the game knowing that the combo of White and Tucker is one that still packs a mighty punch.
