The Tampa Bay Buccaneers endured as frustrating a season as possible this year. After starting off the season with a 6-2 record, the Buccaneers lost seven of their next nine games. A win over the Carolina Panthers this past weekend wasn't enough to clinch the division. Instead, they needed to rely on the New Orleans Saints to defeat the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, which didn't happen. Now, the Buccaneers are sitting at home while the Panthers are in the playoffs for the first time in 10 years.
As the Buccaneers' season entered a free fall, the fanbase had been calling for head coach Todd Bowles' job. Even as the losses continued to pile up, the expectation from ESPN senior NFL insider Adam Schefter was that Bowles would remain head coach. As NFL fans know, plans can change, and they are waiting for official confirmation. But when could that decision arrive?
Greg Auman of FOX Sports hinted that he doesn't expect there to be an announcement on changes to Bowles' staff until later in the week due to exit interviews with players and evaluations. Auman says he expects there to be changes to the staff, but doesn't expect them to be revealed on Monday.
Not presuming anything, but I don't expect word on changes on Todd Bowles' staff until later in the week. Exit interviews with players, discussions and evaluations first. Fully expecting changes, just not today.

Changes to Buccaneers coaching staff may not occur until later in the week
When replying to fan on X asking if the Glazer family would have already released a statement about keeping Bowles, Auman says he doesn't know "if they feel a need to make a statement if they're keeping him."
Bowles did speak with reporters on Monday, and defended himself as Buccaneers fans called for his job. Bowles said that he's "earned the chance" to remain as Buccaneers head coach, citing his three NFC South titles in consecutive years.

As for potential coaching changes if Bowles stays put, one option could be at offensive coordinator. ESPN's Jeremy Fowler hinted that Josh Grizzard's seat became hot at the end of the season, especially as the offense tanked in the second half.
The defense notably struggled too, especially due to injuries. It can't be ruled out that some assistants on the defensive side of the ball are let go by Bowles, especially if that is a caveat of him remaining head coach.
Buccaneers fans looking for concrete answers on Bowles' status, don't expect it to come until later this week.
