Coming out of the bye week the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have their work cut out if they want to reclaim the No. 1 seed in the NFC.

It's a three game gauntlet that takes them to Buffalo and then Los Angeles over the next two weeks, but the journey begins in Tampa on Sunday against the New England Patriots. Drake Maye is having the best season of his career so far and Mike Vrabel has completely turned the team around faster than anyone anticiapted.

All of that sets the stage for another measuring stick game for the Bucs against a Super Bowl contender. For as much as a win for Tampa Bay would go a long way in helping establish the team as a true threat, a win for the Patriots would be a signature victory for Maye.

Tampa Bay is the better team on paper, but that hasn't stopped them from getting into games that come down to the wire all season. Redzone offense stall outs have contributed to games being way closer than they needed to be, and it's something that needs to get cleaned up against an opponent who won't let them off the hook.

What channel is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers game on today? (November 9th)

While it was a prime opportunity to have Tom Brady on the call for FOX, today's game will instead air on CBS. The good news is that it's the premier game of the slate, which means Jim Nantz and Tony Romo are in Tampa for the call.

Here's everything you need to know to catch today's game:

  • Date: Sunday, November 9th
  • Start Time: 1 pm ET
  • Location: Raymond James Stadium | Tampa, FL
  • TV Channel: CBS
  • Announcers: Jim Nantz, Tony Romo
  • Radio: WXTB 97.9 FM
  • Live Stream: NFL+ | Fubo

As if things weren't already hard enough, the Bucs will be going up against the Patriots without a trio of key players. Bucky Irving and Chris Godwin are again out on offense, and the defense will be without Haason Reddick for another game.

The good news is that Luke Goedeke is returning to the lineup after having missed every game since Week 2. It's a huge boost to the offensive line, and hopefully a good omen for how things will go for the Bucs on Sunday.
