There's no love lost in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers rivalry with the New Orleans Saints, and it doesn't take long for players to get invested in the feud. We saw Jameis Winston play the role of instigator in the past, and now Baker Mayfield is doing his part as well.

The only difference is Baker was actually on the field at the time of his entry into the Bucs-Saints fight Hall of Fame.

It didn't reach the proportions we've seen in the past where an all-out brawl starts, and nobody was kicked out of the game, but it was still pretty great.

Baker Mayfield hilariously disrespected a Saints player and started a fight

On Tampa Bay's first drive of the third quarter, and needing a spark on offense, Baker scrambled for a nice gain and seemed to take a bit of a late hit as he started to slide. The hit wasn't flagged, but Baker stepped over Will Harris like he was Allen Iverson, and a mini skirmish broke out as a result.

Nothing much happened and thankfully no flags were thrown to erase the gain. It was an especially lucky turn of events for the Bucs that Cody Mauch didn't get a penalty -- or worse -- for throwing a punch at a Saints player.

On the scale of brawls we've seen between these two teams in the past, this is pretty lowkey but it's still nice to see Bakery get involved. Not only that, but hte context of it is what makes the whole thing even better.

Tampa Bay got embarrassed pretty bad in the first half and came out looking as flat as they have all season. Baker injecting some energy into the team with his antics was exactly what they needed, and it ended up flipping the momentum at the exact right time.

We've seen this before from Baker and how he's helped give the team an identity, and he once again proved why the the Bucs brought him back as their franchise quarterback.
