Next up on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' 2025 schedule is a trip to Seattle where the 3-1 Bucs will play the 3-1 Seahawks. The game was originally slated to kick off at 4:05 Eastern time, which equates to a 12:05 Pacific time kickoff. That might not be in the cards after the Seattle Mariners clinched their division and will host games in the American League Divisional round.
According to Adam Schefter, the Seahawks could be facing some scheduling conflicts for their next two home games, one of which will come against the Buccaneers.
There are upcoming potential scheduling conflicts for the Seahawks next two home games during a year in which the Mariners won their first division title since 2001 — when the Seahawks still played in the AFC. https://t.co/5eovIiVDkG

"The infrastructure of the area surrounding the Mariners' T-Mobile Park and the Seahawks' Lumen Field -- which are practically next door to each other, a mere one-tenth of a mile apart -- is not designed to support two games played at the same time and would create logistical issues that include a chaotic traffic situation along with overcrowding.
Therefore, if the two games in Seattle wind up being scheduled for the same time -- a decision that Major League Baseball must first make -- changes to the Seahawks' schedule might have to be made."
Due to the two stadiums being in close proximity with each other, this could force the game to be moved. Whether that's to a different time on Sunday or to a different day entirely remains to be seen. It's also possible that Major League Baseball will opt to schedule the game at a time that wouldn't conflict with the Seahawks' schedule but that's probably not going to be on their minds when they're selecting times for the divisional series match-ups.
Bucs-Seahawks kickoff could be moved due to potential scheduling conflict
This could be a bit of an inconvenience for the Buccaneers who will already be flying across the timezone and three hours behind their standard eastern timezone. Hopefully this situation gets squared away before the team travels to the west coast for their very important game against the Seahawks.
On the line in this one for both teams is a 4-1 start through five games with the loser dropping to 3-2. Going 3-2 isn't the end of the world obviously but after starting 3-0, it'd be a tough pill for Bucs fans to swallow. Hopefully this doesn't end up becoming a situation to monitor and the Bucs don't have to play on a weird day of the week but if they do, they'll just have to roll with the punches.
