For the second time in three weeks the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be under the bright lights of primetime football, but hopefully things go better this time around. That’s a deck firmly stacked against the Bucs as Monday sees a matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs on the road in Arrowhead.

It’s Tampa Bay’s first trip to Kansas City since 2016, when Jameis Winston led the team into Arrowhead and escaped with an upset win. That game was 19-17 victory, and fans would love to see another game like that especially considering how banged up the roster the Bucs are taking with them is.

Two weeks ago both Mike Evans and Chris Godwin were lost to injuries, the latter of which resulting in season-ending surgery. Evans is expected to return after the bye week, but that doesn’t do the Bucs any good against the Chiefs.

Baker Mayfield has been an underdog before, and has brought his teams back from being down bad, but the uphill climb against Kansas City is about as steep as it gets.
