It's been 10 days since we last saw the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the field, and here's to hoping things go better this time around.

Last Thursday was a brutal, there's no way to sugarcoat it. Tampa Bay snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in Atlanta, which has placed even more pressure on an already huge matchup with the New Orleans Saints in Week 6.

Playing the Saints is never easy, but the Bucs have a clear advantage heading into the game. Derek Carr was ruled out after suffering an oblique injury which means rookie Spencer Rattler will be making his first career start. While fans are a bit nervous about that, the fact is Tampa Bay has a winning record against rookie quarterbacks under Todd Bowles and held the potential Rookie of the Year down in Week 1.

Add to that the fact that key players for Tampa Bay are returning, like Luke Goedeke and Calijah Kancey -- and potentially Antoine Winfield Jr. -- and all of a sudden things look pretty good on paper. A defense that got torched for over 500 passing yards against Kirk Cousins a week ago is not only going to be motivated, it's going to look better which is a huge plus for the Bucs.

With Hurricane Milton having devestated the Tampa area, access to the Bucs game might be a little more difficult than it usually is. First and foremost is everyone staying safe, and those with power have an option other than relying on the television broadcast to catch the game and escape from reality for a few hours.
