Before Tom Brady ever became the quarterback of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he did Bucs fans a huge favor by handing the rival Falcons one of the most humiliating losses in Super Bowl history, leading the Patriots back from a 28-3 deficit to win Super Bowl LI.

It’s considered the greatest comeback in sports history to this day, but Brady just witnessed another improbable one that could give 28-3 a run for its money.

Argentina, led by the legendary Lionel Messi, found themselves on the verge of heartbreak, down 2-0 with just 12 minutes plus stoppage time remaining.

The world was watching an improbable upset unfold, but Argentina rose from the ashes. They scored three goals in a 13-minute span to pull off a comeback for the ages and escape with a 3-2 victory.

Tom Brady was watching the game, and he thinks his Super Bowl comeback might have some competition in sports history.

“Yeah so that might top 28-3,” Brady posted to X.

It’s another painful reminder for Falcons fans, as seemingly every legendary sports comeback brings the conversation back to their Super Bowl LI collapse.

Bucs fans will gladly take any opportunity to relive Atlanta’s historic meltdown, especially now that Brady is a part of Buccaneers history after delivering Tampa Bay a ring of their own..

To make matters even worse, the Argentina-Egypt game was played in Mercedes-Benz Stadium, home of the Atlanta Falcons. They truly can’t escape 28-3, and Bucs fans are enjoying every second of it.
