Similar to wide receiver, the Bucs' running back group is solidified at the top, with Rachaad White and rookie Bucky Irving slated to carry the majority of the workload in 2024. That said, the competition for RB3 behind White and Irving has been present all summer, one that Tucker may have just sealed after Friday night's game.

In total, Tucker had six carries for 20 yards and had a 27-yard catch and run pass from Kyle Trask against the Jaguars. More importantly, Chase Edmonds, Tuckers' main competitor for RB3, did not play a single snap in the preseason finale, which is great news for the former undrafted free agent,

For his credit, Tucker has been a star for Tampa Bay this preseason, recording 21 carries for 120 rushing yards and 5.7 yards per carry, all team highs. At just 22 years old, Tucker can be a true change-of-pace running back for Tampa Bay behind White and Irving, and will be a player to watch this upcoming season.

He made the final roster as the third running back, and the loss of Chas Edmonds for the entire season means Tucker has a chance to shine in ways he was unable to last year.
