1. Kansas City Chiefs

Believe it or not, the Chiefs have some cap space to play with this offseason despite paying Patrick Mahomes a boatload of cash. They're right behind the Panthers in total cap space and could afford to bring Evans in if they wanted to.

There's no debating that the Chiefs need another wide receiver to pair with Rashee Rice in 2024. Mahomes had the worst WR group of his career and it showed, as guys like Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Mecole Hardman, and Kadarius Toney let him down time after time (or drop after drop).

Adding Evans to the Chiefs' WR room wouldn't be fair as now Mahomes would have an elite weapon to throw to. There'd be no doubt that the two of them would destroy the rest of the league.

That being said, while I have the Chiefs as number one here, the main thing holding them back from signing Evans would be if they want to go all-in on keeping Chris Jones. They'll also need to extend guys like L'Jarius Sneed, Creed Humphrey, and Nick Bolton. That could prevent them from signing an elite name like Mike Evans.
