Round 4, Pick 127: Cooper Beebe, G/Kansas State

So many folks are going to expect Tampa Bay to go heavy on offense early in the draft, but the team can load up on top defensive prospects while still landing key pieces to rebuild the offensive line with. Cooper Beebe is one of those guys, as he'd likely be talked about as a first-round pick if the class wasn't so deep.

That's good news for the Bucs, who can fortify the defense in the first two picks while landing a talented guard like Beebe on Day 2. Jason Licht did a similar thing last year, going with Calijah Kancey as his top pick but snagging Cody Mauch in the second round. Assuming he continues to develop, Mauch should take care of the need at right guard while Beebe can slide in at left guard and anchor that side of the line.

If the Bucs end up with Sederick Van Pran-Granger at center, Beebe would essentially fill out the offensive line and give the team the foundation for something potentially special. Tristan Wirfs is the captain over at left tackle which makes playing right next to him a perfect place for Beebe to learn from one of the best in the league. Right tackle is still a question mark, but so is the entire line outside of Wirfs.

Beebe feels like an absolute steal with this pick.
