The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will try to hand the Carolina Panthers their seventh consecutive road loss on Sunday. The Buccaneers have struggled lately, losing six out of their last seven games, including a seven-point loss to the Colts in Week 12.

However, they are playing a bad Panthers team that fired their head coach earlier this week and is trying to find its identity. I found two Buccaneers props that bettors should look at and a Panthers prop that's plus money.

Best NFL Prop Bets for Panthers vs. Buccaneers in Week 13

  • Mike Evans OVER 63.5 receiving yards (-115)
  • Trey Palmer OVER 2.5 receptions (-115)
  • Chuba Hubbard OVER 12.5 rushing attempts (+100)

Mike Evans OVER 63.5 receiving yards (-115)

The Buccaneers’ star wide receiver had a solid game last week against the Colts, recording six receptions (nine targets) for 70 yards and two touchdowns. It was the second time Evans had at least six receptions in the past three games.

He’ll try to build off that performance against the Panthers on Sunday, who have the fourth-best passing defense this season (179.6 yards per game allowed).

Carolina’s defense has struggled against WR1s this season, ranking 26th in DVOA-WR1 and allowing 68.7 receiving yards per game, per ftnfantasy.com. It’s a favorable matchup for Evans, who has scored a touchdown in three straight games and gone OVER 63.5 receiving yards in six out of 11 games.

Trey Palmer OVER 2.5 receptions (-115)

The rookie wide receiver has emerged as the Buccaneers’ No. 3 wide receiver, which is great news for QB Baker Mayfield and the rest of the offense. Palmer doesn’t have gaudy numbers, but he’s been consistent over the last five games. The former Nebraska wideout produced 16 receptions (25 targets) for 133 yards since Week 8.

In those five games, Palmer has gone OVER 2.5 receptions four times, including the last two games where he had eight total receptions. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see Palmer have a few catches on Sunday, especially with the Panthers’ defense focused on Evans and Chris Godwin.

Chuba Hubbard OVER 12.5 rushing attempts (+100)

Hubbard doesn’t have a great matchup this week against the Buccaneers' defense, which allows 95.9 rushing yards per game (seventh-fewest in the NFL) this season. However, the Panthers must run the ball to keep the pressure off of rookie quarterback Bryce Young.

The 24-year-old running back has supplanted Miles Sanders as the team’s lead back, starting in the last six games. Hubbard is averaging 13.8 carries per game over that stretch.

However, Sanders had a team-high 15 carries in last week’s game against the Titans, while Hubbard had 14. With Carolina firing head coach Frank Reich earlier this week, it will be interesting to see how the new coaching staff handles the running back rotation.

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
