Trade Number 3: The Saints defense gets even better by adding Danielle Hunter

We have come to the New Orleans Saints, who have quietly had one of the better defenses in the league this season. Offensively, though, they have struggled at times. If they are able to get their offensive line healthy and if Alvin Kamara becomes even some of what he once was, the Saints should be in decent shape.

Let's go back to the defense, though, which ranks fifth-to-last in sacks with 13 on the season. Aside from their inability to get to the quarterback on a regular basis, the Saints are performing well against the pass. New Orleans currently owns the no. 4 pass defense in football through Week 6, and if they can trade for another established pass rusher, that could propel this unit even further.

Hunter trade

The Vikings will more than likely end up dealing edge rusher Danielle Hunter before the deadline. Hunter is in the final year of his contract, and the Vikings are trying to prepare for having to pay Justin Jefferson, along with rebuilding a few other spots. At 2-4, the season doesn't look too bright for Minnesota, who could be true sellers here in a couple of weeks.
