It wasn't the most dominant season they've ever had, but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers did what they had to do and clinched the NFC South for their third-straight divisional title. They'll now host the imploding Philadelphia Eagles in the opening round of the NFL Playoffs.

But, what about the Super Bowl? Do the Buccaneers have a chance? Let's take a look at what the oddsmakers think.

Buccaneers odds to win Super Bowl 58

The Buccaneers' odds to win the Super Bowl at FanDuel Sportsbook sit at +9500. Only the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers have longer odds.

If you translate those odds to implied probability, the Bucs have a 1.04% chance of winning it all. If you were to bet $100 on them to lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy, you'd win a profit of $9,500 if they achieve the feat.

Can the Buccaneers win the Super Bowl?

I don't think I'll upset Buccaneers fans when I say the odds are stacked against them to win the Super Bowl this season. There is a reason they have the third longest odds despite being a division champion. With that being said, it's not impossible and there is a path for them to pull it off.

The Buccaneers get a favorable matchup in the opening round against an imploding Eagles team that has looked abysmal in the final six weeks of the season. If they win that game, they should hope that the Packers or Rams pull off an upset to avoid going to San Francisco in the Divisional Round. If they can face the likes of the Lions, Cowboys, or Rams in the second round, the Buccaneers will have a much better chance of winning.

Let's also remember that because they're divisional champs, they'll host any playoff game they have against a wild card team.

The Bucs also has enough talent offensively to hang with most teams if Baker Mayfield is on his "A" game. They enter the playoffs ranking eighth in the NFL in Dropback EPA.

For any path to open up for the Bucs, they'll need to get past the Eagles first.

Eagles vs. Buccaneers odds

The Buccaneers are set as 2.5-point to a 3-point underdogs against the Eagles, depending on the sportsbook. The total for the game is set at 44.0. Based on their moneyline odds of +134, the Bucs have an implied probability of 42.74% of beating the Eagles.

Who will the Buccaneers play next?

If the Bucs are able to upset the Eagles in the opening round, there are a number of teams they have the potential to play in the Divisional Round. In fact, the only team we know they won't play is the Green Bay Packers, who will automatically play the 49ers if they're able to upset the Cowboys, based on them being the lowest seed in the NFC Playoffs.

If all four division winners come out of the Wild Card Round victorious, the Bucs will have to take on the No. 1 seed 49ers. If both the Rams and Packers are able to upset their opponents and win as wild card teams, the Buccaneers will host a second playoff game as they welcome the Rams to town.

By the time the Eagles and Buccaneers kick-off on Monday night, we'll know who their opponent will be if they're able to win.
